Ray Conner is a former Boeing executive. He retired in December 2017. Conner graduated from CWU in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in Education and received an MBA from the University of Puget Sound. He worked for Boeing for more than 40 years, starting out as a mechanic and steadily climbing through the ranks of company leadership to become vice chairman of the Boeing Company and president and chief executive officer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Conner has served as a speaker at various campus events at CWU, such as the Supply Chain Management Winter Conference, and hosting student visits at the Boeing facilities near Seattle.
Conner is a member of the board of directors of Alaska Airlines, where he chairs the compensation and leadership development committee and is a member of the safety committee.
Conner is on his second second six-year term that ends in September 2029.
