CWU Sustainability
Wildcat Neighborhood Farm
The Wildcat Neighborhood Farm is a Sustainability Center and Outdoor Classroom at CWU. The mission is to support education, community health, and environmental stewardship on campus by examining the social and ecological implications of our food system.
The farm provides classes and volunteers opportunities to engage with growing food; provides fresh produce to Dining Services and community food pantries; and is building a campus composting program to divert Dining waste from the landfill. We strive to embody our mission by building a culture of environmental stewardship, inclusivity, and collaboration. We welcome all who wish to participate, as well as new ideas and thoughtful projects that are in line with our goals.
