           Policy


(1) Designation and Qualifications.

A. The officers of the board of trustees shall be chair, vice chair, secretary, and treasurer. The chair and vice chair shall be members of the board of trustees. The secretary and treasurer may or may not be members of the board of trustees.

(2) Election of Chair and Vice Chair.

A. The board of trustees shall elect the chair and vice chair. The chair and vice chair shall be elected annually at the summer retreat of the board of trustees, and shall hold office for one year or until their successors are elected. In the event of an interim vacancy in the office of chair or vice chair, successors may be elected to hold office for the unexpired term.

(3) Appointment of Treasurer.

A. The board of trustees shall appoint a treasurer who shall be the financial officer of the board and who shall hold office at the pleasure of the board.

(4) Appointment of Secretary.
A. The board of trustees shall appoint a secretary who shall provide administrative support to the board and who shall hold office at the pleasure of the board.
