We are excited to announce the 2026 Veterans Book Club selection: Bombs to Trails by Jessica Pekari.

Bombs to Trails explores themes of service, transition, healing, and connection through the outdoors. Drawing on personal experience and reflection, Pekari examines how time in nature can support growth, resilience, and purpose after military service. This book offers an honest and thoughtful perspective that resonates with veterans, military-connected students, and allies alike.

All veteran and military-connected students, as well as faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to participate in the book club. Copies of the book and additional details about meeting dates, discussion format, and how to get involved will be shared soon.

We look forward to reading and reflecting together as a community!
