-
Associate’s Degree: An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Paramedicine or an AA-DTA (Direct Transfer Agreement) with courses in general education and prerequisite science courses is most beneficial for this major. Any AA-DTA will satisfy all of the general education requirements; the AAS in Paramedicine will not.
- Prerequisite Grade Requirements: A minimum grade of C in all prerequisite courses.
-
Entry Requirements: There are no auditions or entry exams required to declare the major; however, for this particular program, applicants must hold paramedicine certification and meet the prerequisite courses and minimum GPA.
-
Completion Timeline: If a student transfers in with an AA-DTA or have completed the general education courses, they can typically complete the degree in 1-2 full-time years. However, the timeline may vary.
- Major requirements may change over time; students will be expected to meet the catalog requirements in place at the time they are admitted to the major.
