Annual Latinx Welcome
The Annual Latinx Welcome brings together students to meet with other students, faculty, staff, and administrators to build their network of support to successfully navigate higher education.
The first welcome was in 2009 hosted by the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlan (MEChA) student organization and their advisor Dr. Gilberto Garcia. Over the years the CWU Latinx Alumni Association has supported the event in partnership with the CWU Alumni Association, the Diversity and Equity Center, the College Assistance Migrant Program, the College of Business, and the Office of Diversity and Inclusivity.
