New Web Services Communication and Support Updates Coming in 2026


Beginning in 2026, Web Services will be rolling out a new communication and support strategy designed to better support CWU’s web content managers.

This updated approach will include:

  • Biweekly email updates with timely information, reminders, and announcements. If you are a content manager on any website, you will automatically receive these notices every two weeks.
  • Curated resources and short tutorials focused on common content management tasks. We are starting out with accessibility resources to help you get started creating accessible content. 
  • Training opportunities and practical tools to help you manage and maintain your website more effectively.
  • A new Microsoft Teams channel to connect directly with the Web Services team and collaborate with fellow content managers across campus.
  • Bi-weekly Open Lab meetings beginning on January 13, 2026 with Web Services (anyone can attend).

Our goal is to provide clearer communication, more consistent support, and shared spaces for learning and problem-solving—making it easier to keep CWU’s web content accurate, accessible, and up to date.
