Exempt Employee Association
Welcome from the EEA Chair
The Exempt Employee Association (EEA) Executive Committee is pleased to serve and support all exempt employees at CWU. We strive to provide diverse perspectives for exempt employees when developing and offering recommendations to the President, Human Resources, and others about issues YOU as an exempt employee are concerned about.
This EEA Executive Committee will work to keep all exempt employees aware of changes, challenges and other items that arise at CWU that could affect exempt employees.
We encourage you to reach out to your EEA Area Representative or email the EEA at exemptempassoc@cwu.edu with questions, comments, or concerns you have. As an exempt employee, you may also email the EEA to request to present a particular topic to the Executive Committee at our next meeting.
In addition, we recognize an Employee of the Month for each month throughout the year. Each monthly winner then has the chance to be named the CWU Exempt Employee of the Year. If you know of a colleague who you believe should be recognized, please consider nominating them for the award.
We will work to bring the voices of all exempt employees to the forefront during these transformative times at CWU. On behalf of the EEA Executive Committee, thank you for giving us this opportunity to serve you all.

EEA Mission
To provide administrators and professional staff a vehicle to:
- ensure a unified voice of exempt employees;
- represent all exempt employees and professional staff through administrators;
- uphold a conducive environment for teaching, learning, research, and service;
- make recommendations to the president on staff welfare, personnel policy, and procedures; and
- provide exempt employees with opportunities for involvement in the university from attending EEA meetings to representing exempt employees on various committees.
