Beginning the Publicity Process

  1. Review the publicity package options below, and submit a Publicity Request Form to begin the process with our team.
    It will be important to identify your project goals, ideal student audience(s) and visual direction during the submission process.
  2. We will review your request and follow up, either to request additional information or to set up a meeting with our creative team.
  3. A publicity timeline will be established, and the design/marketing process will begin. You can expect communications from the staff assigned to your project throughout the process. If you opt for the Media Buzz package, posters are distributed about 2 weeks prior to your event (on a space available basis across campus).
  4. Event promotion begins!

Publicity Package Add-Ons and A La Carte Items

Add-Ons (using established graphics) priced according to quantity, size, production, etc. Examples: additional poster/flyer prints, large format prints (i.e., SURC blade sign), handbills, etc. Call or email us to discuss further and for pricing.

A la Carte (using new graphics, custom video/reels, promotions, etc.), priced according to complexity, time, etc. Examples: publications, brochures, rack cards, stickers, displays, t-shirts, event calendar listings, video promos...or anything else you dream up! Email publicity@cwu.edu to request a meeting.

  • Media Buzz (Best Value)

    The Media Buzz Package needs a 6-8 week lead time to prepare the assests and advertise your event with plenty advance! It costs $210 and $170 for S&A funded areas.

    The deliverables include:

    • Printed posters
    • Distribution on campus in residence halls/campus apts
    • Digital graphics to support web and social promotions
    • Sandwich boards (SURC)
    • Shoutouts on HYPE social media platforms
    • Your event featured in the Hype Breakdown (Daily Instagram story on the Hype socials)
    • A shoutout on the Hype Minute, featured on 88.1 the 'Burg campus radio station
    • Your event on the CWU Calendar
    • Suitable Activity Created
    • Your event featured on the Weekly Hype Posters (posted in all the bathrooms in the SURC)
    • Ad design AND one week on Wildcat Access screens
  • Digital Buzz

    The Digital Buzz Package needs a 4-6 week lead time to prepare the assests and advertise your event with plenty advance! It costs $125 and $100 for S&A funded areas.

    The deliverables include:

    • Digital graphics to support web and social promotions
    • Shoutouts on HYPE social media platforms
    • Your event featured in the Hype Breakdown (Daily Instagram story on the Hype socials)
    • A shoutout on the Hype Minute, featured on 88.1 the 'Burg campus radio station
    • Your event on the CWU Calendar
    • Suitable Activity Created
    • Your event featured on the Weekly Hype Posters (posted in all the bathrooms in the SURC)
    • Ad design AND one week on Wildcat Access screens
  • Accordion 2

    This holds the content of the Accordion item. The Accordion items are structured as a list, with each Accordion item being one item in the list. Given this, to maintain proper content structure, using headings within Accordion item content is not recommended.
