Amanda Youngers has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at the UW Indoor this past weekend.

The senior thrower from Brewster, WA finished 11th overall in the weight throw with a distance of 15.35 meters (50-04.5 feet).

Youngers went on to finish seventh in shot put with a throw of 12.72 meters.

"Amanda put in a lot of hard work these past few weeks," Head coach Kevin Adkisson said. "It's great for her to hit such a high mark."
