Woman gives 27 dolls to Central’s gift-giving program

This Christmas, 27 lucky children will receive a porcelain doll from Central Washington University's annual holiday giving program.

Ellensburg resident NormaLou Nelson donated 27 porcelain dolls from her extensive doll collection to the holiday gift program. At one point her collection had over 300, though she has recently started giving some away.

"Some of them just make you smile," Nelson said about the dolls.
