Tye, Recanzone put CWU Rodeo back on national map

It didn’t end exactly as they hoped, but it still ended with a spotlight on their achievement.

Central Washington University Rodeo Club’s Jordan Tye and Trey Recanzone left Casper, Wyoming’s College National Finals Rodeo with some accolades.

Tye placed fifth nationally in tie-down roping, and the duo finished 11th overall in team roping. Because he generated points in both events throughout the week, Tye also left Wyoming fourth in the All-Around.
