The James E. Brooks Library at CWU will have its third annual gala and silent auction, An Evening at the Brooks, from 7-10:30 p.m. April 9.

The fundraiser will benefit the Brooks Library, which serves as a local landmark and beneficial resource to the CWU campus and community.

The event will feature the incredible talents of the CWU community, including entertainment from local musicians and poets.

People can dance in the stacks to the music of the Ellensburg Big Band accompanied by swing dancing lessons from the CWU Swing Cats. Local saxophonist Lenny Price and CWU’s music students also will perform.

Tickets are available at cwu.edu/tickets, by calling 509-963-1429, or by visiting Wildcat Tickets in the CWU Student Union and Recreation Center.
