Students and community members hold peace march at CWU to celebrate Martin Luther King

About 75 students and community members marched together around Central Washington University’s campus to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Thursday afternoon in the seventh annual MLK celebration.

Chants of “Equal rights” and “Give us freedom” could be heard from the crowd as people carried signs with phrases like “Don’t buy where you can’t work” and “We protest injustice.”
