Student Beer Wins Limited Production Run at Iron Horse Brewery

A dark-colored midnight ale produced by students at Central Washington University, named for the black horse ridden by one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, won a limited production run at Iron Horse Brewery.

Four groups of students in CWU’s craft brewing certificate program shared their beer, recipes and branding ideas Thursday night, and Iron Horse staff picked from the lot.

It was the third time the program has put on the competition, and the first time Iron Horse has been a partner.
