Second Candidate for CWU Vice President of Operations Visits Campus

Eric W. Conrad, managing director of university services at Brigham Young University-Idaho and a candidate for Central Washington Universityâs vice president of operations position, will visit the campus on Friday, January 13.
Conrad has an MS in management and leadership from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City and a BS in the College of Engineering-Facilities Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
At Brigham Young-Idaho, Conrad serves on the presidentâs senior-level management team and is responsible for the universityâs real estate development/operations, food services, book store, printing services, stores and receiving, mail services, surplus operations, ticketing office, and scheduling office.
In that role, he successfully made the food services unit profitable for the first time in the universityâs history by increasing the efficiency and productivity of team members.
Conrad previously worked as director of facilities management at Brigham Young-Idaho and served as managing director of facilities for CB Richard Ellis, Inc. in Seattle and Spokane, where he was responsible for the facility operations of 3,100 retail and campus properties in 41 states.

Noon â 1:30 p.m. Meet with President James Gaudino
1:30 p.m. â 3 p.m. Campus tour
3 p.m. â 4 p.m. Campus Forum (open to the public), SURC 301
5:30 p.m. â 7:30 p.m. Dinner with Presidentâs Cabinet
