Nine Wildcats Earn Spot on GNAC All-Academic Team

The Great Northwest Athletic Conference has announced its 2015 cross country All-Academic team. Two men's runners and seven women's runners made the list which includes three three-time nominees for the award.

Erin Chinchar (3.51 Elementary Education), Dani Eggleston (3.42 Clinical Physiology) and Megan Rogers (3.57 Elementary Education) each find themselves on the all-conference team for a third straight year. The award requires a grade-point average of 3.3 or higher for athletes with sophomore status or beyond.

Kaitlyn McKinney (3.68 Public Health) finds her name on the list for a second straight year along with first time award winners Nicole Charlton (3.68 Undeclared), Hannah Dowdell (3.51 Biology) and Anna Hood (3.39 Environmental Studies).

Brent Christianson (3.88 Undeclared) and Kyle Paulson (3.68 Business Administration) represent the men's team as first time award winners.

The news comes on the brink of the NCAA West Regional Championships set to be held this weekend (Nov. 7) in Monmouth, Ore.
