Nine Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

Nine Central Washington track and field athletes were earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II All-Academic honors.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either the indoor or outdoor seasons.

Kodiak Landis earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors on the men's side, while Ali Anderson, Emily Bland, McKenna Emmert, Madison Garcia, Aiyana Homer, Stephanie Rexus, Alexa Shindruk, and Mariyah Vongsaveng all earned the honor on the women's side.

It is the second selection for Emmert and Vongsaveng.

In total, there were 301 men and 471 women who earned USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic honors in 2016-17.
