New CWU students explore Ellensburg at Bite of the Burg

After moving into the dorms on Friday and sifting through several days of required meetings and informational sessions over the weekend, the Central Washington University freshmen class was introduced to local businesses at the annual Bite of the Burg event on Tuesday.

Local restaurants, nonprofits and other organizations lined both sides of Fourth Avenue between Pearl and Ruby Streets in downtown Ellensburg, while students wound their way through each booth, filling their pockets with food, prizes and whatever else they could find.
