New Bike Boulevard on 7th Ave

If you are new to Ellensburg or a returning student, the City of Ellensburg wants to let you know about a few things that happened in town while you were away for the summer.

There now is a Bike Boulevard on 7th Avenue – just one block south of University Way. The 7th Avenue Bike Boulevard is virtually stop sign and traffic free, allowing for safe cycling in the east/west direction between the John Wayne Trail at the Fairgrounds and Wenas Street.

Just remember that bikes, skateboards, and other recreational wheels are walked on sidewalks in the downtown area to avoid pedestrian/wheels collisions.
