Free tickets for the 2023 President's Diversity Awards are available on Wildcat Tickets through Thursday, February 23.
The deadline to reserve your free tickets is fast approaching - Thursday, February 23 - so please visit Wildcat Tickets as soon as possible.
The catered event, scheduled from 5-7 p.m. in the SURC Ballroom and hosted by President Jim Wohlpart, will recognize CWU staff, faculty, students, alumni, and Ellensburg community members who have helped the university become more diverse, more equitable, and more inclusive over the years.
Each of the winners will be invited to deliver a brief acceptance speech after they are introduced. The ceremony will also feature the recipient of the fourth annual Bobby Cummings Award, named after the longtime CWU English professor.
The event, sponsored by the CWU Office of the President and the CWU Office of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, is part of a university-wide commitment to building a more diverse, more inclusive campus community. The awards ceremony was introduced in 2015 to help the university celebrate, honor, and understand differences, become more welcoming, and ensure true access by providing equity of opportunity.
