Shots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and no appointment is necessary.

The university and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) strongly encourage booster shots for anyone who received the two-shot regimen of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines at least five months ago. A booster is recommended after two months for those who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

If you can't make it to the SURC on Friday, a number of pharmacies in Ellensburg are providing booster shots by appointment. Find a location near you by using the Washington Department of Health's vaccine locator. COVID-19 booster shots also will be available to students at SHS on Wednesdays and Thursdays, by appointment, throughout winter quarter.

SHS also hosted a series of COVID-19 testing clinics at the SURC this week. Students who are experiencing COVID symptoms should make an appointment at SHS (509-963-1881) weekdays between 8:40 to 10 a.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m.

For CWU employees and students not on campus, the KVH COVID Testing Clinic at 716 E. Manitoba Ave. offers testing weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
