First candidate for CWU Vice President of Public Affairs Visits Campus

Kremiere Jackson, director of marketing and communications at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue and a candidate for Central Washington Universityâs vice president of public affairs position, will visit the campus on Monday, April 17.
Jackson, who has a bachelorâs degree in communications from Washington State University, is a former marketing curriculum architect and public relations specialist at Microsoft Corp. and was media relations liaison for Puget Sound Energy.
Additionally, she served as communications director for the Washington State Department of Agriculture and prior to that was a public information officer for five Washington state senators. She has also worked as a television reporter and radio news anchor for KXLY and was a talk show producer for KING-AM radio.
Jacksonâs schedule on April 17 includes:

10:45 a.m. â 11:30 a.m. Meet with Department of Public Affairs directors, Barge 410
11:30 a.m. â 12:45 p.m. Meet with President James Gaudino
1 p.m. â 2 p.m. Meet with search committee, Barge 412
2:30 p.m. â 3:30 p.m. Campus tour
4 p.m. â 5 p.m. Campus Forum (open to the public), Barge 410
5:30 p.m. â 7:30 p.m. Dinner with Presidentâs Cabinet
