Fettig, Garcia Earn GNAC Athlete of the Week Honors

Two Central Washington University track and field athletes have earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors the conference announced today.

Madison Garcia earned Women's Track Athlete of the Week after setting a Central Washington record in the 200-meter dash. Garcia posted a time of 24.61 seconds, besting her own record by six-hundredths of a second.

Tayler Fettig claimed Women's Field Athlete of the Week after winning the high jump and finishing third in the long jump at the CWU GNAC Qualifier.

Central competes in the GNAC Championship this weekend.
