CWU's Serevi leads U.S. over Canada

Central Washington women’s rugby players Asinate Serevi and Jenny Johnson not only played for their school Wednesday afternoon, but for their country as well.

The two represented the United States as part of the USA Rugby AIG Women’s Junior All-American team that played the first of a two-match Can-Am series with Canada at the CWU rugby pitch.

“This opportunity is amazing,” Johnson said. “I get to be with my teammates and I’ve met so many amazing girls from all over the country.”
