Central Washington University’s Orchesis Dance Company will perform Tuesday, April 24, at the 4th Street Theatre in Yakima.

The performance, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will include a series of new dance works choreographed by CWU faculty and students.

"Faculty and staff in CWU’s dance programs are extremely excited to perform these works, which have never been seen before,” said Therese Young, CWU’s dance program director. “This is a very limited engagement, one-night-only performance and seating is limited, so it’s advised that people get their tickets as soon as they can.”

Tickets, which are priced at $10 per person, can be found at https://capitoltheatre.org/venues/4th-street-theatre.html.

The CWU Orchesis Dance Company promotes dance as a performing art and provides opportunities for students to learn to choreograph, learn, and perform original artistic works. Dance styles emphasized within the company include modern dance and jazz dance.
