CWU’s Ninth Street Mall Closed During the Summer

  • June 1, 2017

Central Washington University will close the 9th Street Mall over the summer to accommodate renovation and construction work on Samuelson Hall. The mall is a pedestrian route between Samuelson and, to the south, Kamola Hall and the Tunstall Dining Commons. The mall will be closed from June 12 to September 8.

The closure accommodates the reconstruction of the pedestrian mall.

Maps indicating alternative routes for those with disabilities have been posted in areas adjacent to the mall. For additional information about disability services, contact Wendy Holden, 509-963-2149, Wendy.Holden@cwu.edu.

The Samuelson project is adding to and modernizing a Depression-era building into an integrated computational science and technology center.

For more information about the project, contact: Lathan Wedin, 509-963-2631 or Lathan.Wedin@cwu.edu.
