Despite some unexpected changes this spring, CWU Dining Services is still introducing new menu selections to the students and staff who continue to live and work on campus. The most notable change this quarter has been Fresh Bar, a new concept that offers a variety of healthy foods and beverages.

National publication Food Management has taken notice, choosing to highlight CWU's Campus Executive Chef Joe Ritchie last week as part of its "Stories from the front lines" feature.

As Ritchie explained to Tara Fitzpatrick, senior editor at The Restaurant & Food Group, Fresh Bar is focused on using locally grown produce and turning it into fresh-squeezed juices, healthy bowls, salads and more. You can read more about Fresh Bar on the CWU website.
