CWU Unveils New University Magazine and Website

  • May 30, 2019

Central Washington University this week rolled out the first issue of Crimson & Black, a new twice-a-year university alumni magazine that uses cutting edge design to tell the stories of the school’s students, staff, faculty, alumni, and supporters.

Concurrent with the publication’s release, the university also went live with a new, interactive website, www.CWUCrimsonandBlack.com, spotlighting not only content from the magazine but bonus stories, videos, photos, and other content. Crimson & Black replaces CWU Connections magazine, which was produced annually in recent years.

“The concept behind the new Crimson & Black magazine and website is to share news about the university with its stakeholders in a new and exciting way,” noted CWU President James L. Gaudino. “In addition to publishing twice a year, in the fall and spring, the Crimson & Black website will be regularly updated with new features, photos, videos, and stories so the content remains fresh throughout the year.”

Crimson & Black is mailed to university alumni and distributed on the CWU campus including academic buildings and the SURC and 1891 Bistro.
