CWU Trustees to Meet in Ellensburg October 21-22, 2021

The Central Washington University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting October 21-22, 2021, in Ellensburg. In accordance with Washington State and CWU COVID-19 rules, all meeting attendees will be required to wear masks. The meeting is open to the public.
On Thursday, October 21, the board will convene at 10:00 a.m. at the Sid W. Morrison Board Room, in Barge Hall room 412. Among the first items on the agenda will be an opportunity for public comment. Rules pertaining to the public comment period are available on the Trustees webpage. To participate in the public comment period, speakers must identify themselves and the topic to be addressed via e-mail by Tuesday, October 19, at 5:00 p.m.
At 12:00 p.m., the board will attend a social lunch at University House. No business will be conducted.
During the afternoon of October 21, the board will return to Barge Hall for a work session on high impact practices and to discuss the culture of inclusion from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The board will then meet in executive session from 3:30-4:30 p.m. as allowed under RCW 42.30.110. At 6:00 p.m., the board will meet for dinner at Basalt Restaurant; no business will be conducted.
On Friday, October 22, trustees will meet from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Hotel Windrow for a board retreat and planning session. At 10:30 trustees will resume the regular business meeting.
