CWU Trustees to Meet in Ellensburg May 19 and 20

The Central Washington University Board of Trustees will meet on May 19 and 20, in room 412 of Barge Hall in Ellensburg, Washington.

On Thursday, May 19, from 3:45-4:30 p.m., the board will conduct a work session on capital priorities, followed by an executive session from 4:30-5:00 p.m. to discuss the acquisition of real estate per RCW 42.30.110 (1b and 1c) and to discuss personnel per RCW 42.30.110 (1g). The board and cabinet members will then attend a Polynesian Festival hosted by the Center for Diversity and Social Justice from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at McConnell Auditorium.

At 6:30 p.m. board and cabinet members will attend a social dinner at the new Science Building. No business will be conducted.

On Friday, May 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the board will conduct a regular business meeting, which will include a public comment period. Rules pertaining to the public comment period are also available at www.cwu.edu/trustees. To participate in the public comment period, speakers must identify themselves and the topic to be addressed via e-mail to cwu_president@cwu.edu by Tuesday, May 17, at 5:00 p.m.
