CWU students clear the way

A group of Central Washington University students made quick work of a driveway north of town that was encrusted with several inches of snow and ice on Saturday morning.

About 10 student volunteers and two student staff members with CWU’s Center for Leadership and Community Engagement took part in the snow shoveling effort at 12 locations around town. Seniors at Ellensburg’s Adult Activity Center could sign up for help with shoveling.
