CWU student starts 10-week intern stint as YH-R reporter

Central Washington University senior and Yakima native Aaron Kunkler joined the Yakima Herald-Republic staff this week as an editorial intern.
Kunkler, 24, will serve as a general assignment reporter for 10 weeks. A 2008 West Valley High School graduate, he is majoring in journalism and minoring in political science at CWU, where he has written for the campus paper, the Observer.
