CWU Rolls Out New Confidential Hotline

Central Washington University has launched a new confidential reporting system, www.cwu.edu/internal-audit/hotline, for employees and others to report suspected violations of university policy, concerns about fiscal compliance, and questionable fiscal conduct.

Called the Internal Audit Hotline, the new online form ensures CWU is conducting its fiscal affairs in full compliance with laws and CWU policy and procedures, according to CWU’s Internal Auditor Jesus Baldovinos, who created the system.

Additionally, Baldovinos said the hotline will strengthen and promote ethical and fair practices and treatment of all members of the CWU community.

Reports to the Internal Audit Hotline can be done anonymously; confidentiality is maintained to the extent permitted by law.
