CWU radio station launches food bank benefit

Student staff and volunteers at Central Washington Universityâs college radio station have written, produced and performed an Ellensburg-related remake of the 1984 song âDo They Know Itâs Christmasâ as part of an effort to spread word about the needs of the FISH food bank, which burned down late November.
Using the song âDo They Know Itâs Christmas?â originally released for a charity effort by he supergroup Band-Aid to shed light on famine and hunger in Africa, the students at 88.1 The âBurg created a âserious parodyâ version of the song.
