The Lion Rock Visiting Writers series returns Tuesday to Central Washington University with author Terry Martin. Martin, CWU English Department professor and accomplished poet, essayist and editor, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the CWU Wildcat Shop. Martin will share poems from her third and latest book of poetry, The Light You Find. The event is free and open to the public, and Martin's book will be available for purchase.

The Light You Find was published last September, and explores life transitions, accomplishments and losses, as well as exploring places, particularly the canyon area, that is sure to resonate with local attendees. Martin said her newest book is about "reckoning" and coming to terms with childhood, family, work, marriage and the losses one experiences while growing older.
