CWU professor giving presentation on poetry

Central Washington University English professor Terry Martin is giving a presentation on poetry titled “A Quiet Place in the Swirl: Why Poetry Matters” from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Basecamp Books and Bites in Roslyn.

Martin has been teaching at Central for 38 years and has received the Distinguished Professor Teaching Award and the CASE/Carnegie U.S. Professor of the Year award. Her most recent book, The Light You Find was published in 2014.
