ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Central Washington University has thirty-four academic departments, offering more than ninety-four academic majors with a variety of programs and specializations.

University students, who have not yet declared a major, and those interested in enrolling at CWU, will be able to learn about all the university has to offer academically during the 10th Annual Majors Fair. It will be held on Wednesday, February 1, from noon to 3:00 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center Ballroom.

“Our goal is to give students the opportunity to explore options when choosing a career path,” said Kristina Paquette, from CWU Career Services, which is sponsoring the event.

Participants will also have opportunities to meet with representatives from other campus organizations, including Academic Advising, ROTC, Civic Engagement, and Learning Support Services, which includes the university math and writing centers.

Door prizes, provided by the Wildcat Shop, will also be available. For more information, contact CWU Career Services at 509-963-1921 or visit http://www.cwu.edu/career.
