  • May 17, 2017

The sounds of traditional Native American drums and songs will fill the air Saturday, May 20 at the CWU Friendship Gathering and Pow Wow. The celebration of Native American culture, traditions and history will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the CWU Japanese Garden Lawn with a variety of events including dance, storytelling, and special drum performances by Spirit of the Renegade and Indian Nation. This event is free and open to the public.

The Friendship Gathering and Pow Wow is sponsored by the CDSJ and is made possible in part thanks to a generous grant from the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.
