CWU music professor attends Marine Corps workshop

Central Washington University trumpet professor John Harbaugh was one of 27 music educators selected from California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada to attend an all-expense paid trip to the Marine Corps music education workshop in Washington D.C.

The workshop included presentations by the “President’s Own” Marine Band and string quartet, the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Quantico Marine Base Band. The educators were presented with clinics, question answer sessions, performances and a tour of the Marine museum.
