Central Washington University celebrates today's U.S. Supreme Court decision that upholds the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy. We stand with our brilliant, courageous DACA students and their families who live in our community, and we know we are better because of their contributions to this institution.

We accept our responsibility to continue supporting our DACA students, and we must work together to ensure that all members of the CWU community and beyond are protected from physical harm, discrimination, and intimidation. It is imperative that we create opportunities to engage in dialogue to work and advocate for our DACA students as we address head-on the specific challenges that this population continues to endure. CWU wants everyone in our community to know that we will continue to fight for all of our students' best interests, regardless of DACA status, mixed status, or undocumented status.
