On Monday evenings, Central Washington University hosts Talk Time, a weekly gathering for international students and others learning English to practice speaking and learn about American culture.
Each evening has a topic to guide conversation. This Monday's: Thanksgiving.
"It's quite a tradition that you guys have," said Sam Lung, who has been involved in Talk Time since she was a Central student.
Lung, from Hong Kong, has celebrated Thanksgiving several times since she came to America as an international exchange student in Oklahoma, then later in college in Everett and Ellensburg.
