Janet Campbell, who works in the Office of Financial Aid at Central Washington University, donated a kidney to a Cle Elum woman she had never met.

Last year, Claudia Osmonovich, who has polycystic kidney disease, shared her story with the Daily Record newspaper, which prompted CWU film student Madeline Schlesinger to make a documentary about her search for a kidney donor. Campbell saw Osmonovich's story on Facebook and decided to help.

Read the Daily Record's touching story about Campbell's selfless gift and the relationship between the two women.
