CWU cybersecurity students getting settled in new Samuelson building

It’s only been a little over three weeks, but students and teachers are making themselves right at home in the new Samuelson building at Central Washington University.

The new facility houses the Information Technology and Administrative Management programs, along with mathematics and computer science, and features not only new computers and equipment, but infrastructure that will help students apply what they’ve learned in real-world scenarios.

Spencer Brown is the vice president of the Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking club, which meets in the new cybersecurity rooms in Samuelson to discuss current events in cyber security, practice what they’ve learned in class as well as develop and perfect some technical skills that might not get covered in the regular curriculum.
