CWU Co-hosts 50th Annual Washington State Search and Rescue Conference

The 50th Annual Washington State Search and Rescue Conference is being held June 22-24 at Central Washington University and the Kittitas County Event Center, along with pre-conference classes June 18-21.

The conference is one of the longest running conferences for search and rescue volunteers in North America and the premier event for search and rescue responders throughout the northwest.

Attendees will receive training in technology, medical skills, Search and Rescue (SAR) team management, team management, K-9 skills, SAR skills and horse skills.

During the conference, the Washington Search and Rescue Volunteers Advisory Council (WSARVAC) will bring their trained canines to Central Washington University for training.
