CWU Associate Dean of Students Jenna Hyatt has been named by the Northwest Association of College and University Housing Officers (NWACUHO) as the recipient of its 2018 Roger Frichette Excellence in Service Award.

The honor, named for the first NWACUHO president, is presented annually to an individual who or organization that has been involved within the regional organization and whose service has, and continues to, better the region on a national or international level.

The award is one of the highest honors from NWACUHO, which is an international multi-state and multi-province professional association for college and university housing professionals.

It has member institutions in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, along with the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia in Canada, and the Yukon Territory, making it the largest geographical regional affiliate of the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International.

The award was announced Wednesday (February 14) in Victoria, British Columbia during the organization̢۪s 2018 annual meeting.
