riders a quieter ride, is ADA accessible with a lift, has a two bike rack, and electronic signs to notify riders of the bus route and the direction the bus is traveling. In the near future, busses will have high tech route tracking devices so riders know the location of busses at all times. In addition to increasing bus routes from two to four, the purchase of the busses is part of the voter approved expansion and improvement of bus services.

The new busses will be part of the fleet operated by the City of Ellensburg’s contractor, HopeSource, starting the week of September 4.
