Bella Notte 2017 Promises an Evening of Italian Delights

  • April 10, 2017

A fabulous evening of Italian music and fine dining awaits you at Bella Notte 2017. This event is sponsored by CWU's Student Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (SNATS). The festivities start at 6:00 p.m., April 15 at Gallery One, 408 Pearl St. in Ellensburg.

The evening features an Italian dinner, live music from CWU voice students, a dessert auction, and a silent auction.

Students will serenade the audience with Italian songs and arias, including Puccini’s “Un bel dì vedremo,” from Madama Butterfly, "Donde lieta uscì" from La Bohème, and "Vissi d’arte" from Tosca.

The meal, catered by the Yellow Church Cafe, will feature traditional Italian cuisine, and donated dessert items will be auctioned off after dinner. Among the silent auction items this year are CWU Music concert tickets, original works from local artists, and numerous donations from local businesses.

Tickets are $35, and may be purchased online at http://www.cwu.edu/tickets/single-events. Tickets must be purchased in advance, as they will not be sold at the door.

Proceeds from this event benefit the CWU vocal students by paying for competition fees and travel expenses for the annual NATS voice competition, supporting visiting clinicians, and helping fund the CWU Opera Ensemble.
