Annual Gift Project Deadline Extended to December 12
- December 1, 2014

Once again, Central Washington University is hosting the Annual Holiday Gift Project, which serves hundreds of underserved children in Kittitas County. Last year, the gift project collected gifts for more than 300 children.
The gift drive began November 3 and will now conclude December 12, to allow more people to participate and to make sure that all 350 children are sponsored. All gifts need to be delivered to the Office of the President by the December 12 deadline.
The project allows participants to make meaningful, personal gifts directly to individual children, by choosing items from the childâs own list. The project coordinator suggests that, since some requests are âneedsâ as much as âwants,â people choose both a practical as well as a fun gift if possible.
The CWU Holiday Gift Project supports CWUâs Early Childhood Education Center, CWUâs Operation ELF, Kittitas County Bright Beginnings, and Department of Children and Family Services.
