Alumni Tie CWU Roots Into Their Wedding

Randy and Kelsey met while students at Central Washington University in 2014. Both now alumni, they wanted to bring their wedding back to the town where their love story began. As huge outdoor enthusiasts, Springwood Ranch in Thorp was the perfect backdrop for their big day, with hundreds of acres surrounding a historic barn with a river burbling nearby. In keeping with the natural theme, the color scheme was simple, consisting of greenery and natural tones. Ellensburg Floral created arrangements to match a whimsical green backdrop and the dark green bridesmaidsâ dresses.

The couple was married by the groomâs grandfather in an emotional ceremony. At the reception, the couple tied in their CWU roots by including DJs from â88.1 The âBurg,â the student radio station. They even got a surprise visit by Wellington the Wildcat when dancing began.
